PATTERN NOTES
Knit in a soft, bulky, and washable wool, this set can be made in a weekend, just in time for the first frost of the year. Cables and texture swirl effortlessly around this hat and mitten set, just like a blustery winter wind.

large-scale patterning on the hat is repeated three times across each round. Cables unite in the center of the crown for a unique twist on hat shaping. Each mitten has a single traveling cable set against reverse stockinette and broken ribbing for textural interest that isn’t overwhelming.

Both the hat and mittens are worked circularly from the bottom up. Instructions for the projects are fully written and charted for your convenience.

You can find a blog post about this pattern including a tutorial here.
