Fishbone Cowl
Bordered on either end with a picot or turned edge; the simple, rhythmic lace pattern creates an open and airy cowl. Use the entire gradient cake to create a long and lightweight piece that lays at the neck in lofty billows of shifting color.
Yarn: Wonderland Yarns “Blossoms: Mary Ann” sock/fingering weight, 85% superwash merino 15% nylon, 475 yds,
4 oz: 1 cake. Shown in limited edition color “Cryptogamia”
Needles & Notions: US 7/4.5mm needles, 16”/40cm circular needles, or your preference for working in the round, stitch
marker, darning needle, (optional: scrap yarn for provisional cast-on)
Gauge: 23 sts & 29 rounds = 4”/10 cm in pattern stitch after blocking, approximately
Measurements: 22” around and 25” tall after blocking, cowl is stretchy
