SKILL LEVEL: Easy
SIZE: Medium, 1X
Length: 24, 26”’ Width: 61, 65 from cuff to cuff
640-099 Wool-Ease Thick & Quick Yarn:
Fisherman 5 (6) balls
Knitting Needles - Size 10.5 (6.5 mm)
Size 15 (10 cm) 32-inch or 36-inch circular knitting needle
Stitch Holders
The size 15 needles are used only for ribbing—on the Sleeve cuffs and on the collar. You can use straight size 15 needles for the cuffs, but you’ll need the long circular needle for the collar (and you can use it—going back and forth rather than in the round--for the cuffs).
In this pattern, the larger size needles are used for the cuff and collar ribbing. The smaller size needles are used for the body parts knit in stockinette stitch.
Ed. Note: Book calls for size 13 (9 mm) needles instead of size 10.5 (6.5 mm) needles.
Construction schematics are provided.
