ABOUT THE PATTERN

Cute and unique sweater in our Fishy series. The sweater is knitted from the bottom up. At the sleeve opening, the work is divided into front and back pieces, which are finished separately and then sewn or knitted together over the shoulders. The sleeves are knitted from the top down by picking up stitches around the sleeve opening.

The Fishy sweater is available for children, women and men. Feel free to play with the pattern by knitting parts of the diagram in a different color or “the wrong way - against the current”. The sweater is also nice in a single color, with one fish placed on the chest (embroidered with a stitch stitch at the end), or with different colors on the fish (for example, one row in each color).

FIT

Range of motion (positive ease) is approximately + 25-35 cm from the chest measurement/upper width for a loose fit. If the child measures, for example, 48 cm around the chest, size 6 years will fit best (range of motion of 27 cm). Choose the size according to the upper width measurement and adjust the length of the sleeves and body to the child. It is advisable to measure the upper width of a sweater the child already has and likes and choose the size that is most similar to the upper width on it. On the girl pictured, the sweater has a range of motion of 35 cm.
