Five-Panel Tunic People often ask where I get my inspiration, and my most common answer is “from my closet.” This piece was inspired by a much-loved tunic I bought years ago. I’d long wanted to knit it, but assumed it would be difficult. However, once I studied the original and saw how easily I could shape each panel, I was thrilled. And because I knit this rather loosely—for the drape it required—each panel was knit in an evening and the entire garment assembled in a week!
