Knit in the round with short row chevron flaps this hat is particularly fun knit with a striping yarn.

Cap is designed to fit close to the head at the top and loose around the face.

Embellish the flaps with tassels, braids or pom-poms if desired. If attaching tassels, braids or pom-poms to the flaps attach to the underside of the flap for best effect.

Braids took about 18 yards of yarn.
