Flamingo
Crocheted entirely in UK Double/ US Single Crochet stitches, this flamingo is the perfect project for an intermediate or ambitious beginner crocheter.
Skill level: Medium
Materials:
75g / 135y / 124m of salmon. (body, neck and part of head)
65g / 117y / 108m of grey. (legs and beak)
43g / 77.4y / 71m of apricot. (wings and head)
I used a 4mm hook and 1x ball each of Universal Cotton Supreme in Grey (shade 609), Salmon (shade 616) and Apricot (shade 625)
You can use the yarn of your choice and a hook to match (any dk or aran weight cotton will achieve a similar effect.
2 x 9mm safety eyes
100 – 150g toy stuffing
The flamingo is crocheted in a continuous spiral of stitches in a style called amigurumi.
The pattern is written in English in both UK and US terms.
