Fleur
Fleur is worked top down.
The yoke is worked with increases evenly distributed, then short rows are worked to raise the neck.
When the yoke is finished, the work is divided into body and sleeves and each part is finished separately.
The body is worked in stockinette stitch and finished with a rib hem.
The sleeves are worked according to 7 different charts, and are finished with a rib, as on the body.
All rib edges are finished with Italian bind off technique.
Fleur is a simple blouse in stockinette stitch and a slightly oversized body.
On the sleeves, a floral pattern grows in the shape of various lace patterns illustrating flowers and leaves, inspired by wild gardens where vegetation is allowed to grow untamed.
