Almost all of this hat is made using a single crochet stitch through the back loop. In the body of the pattern I use the abbreviation (sc) This is to save space. Always work your stitch through the back loop unless otherwise noted.

Yarn: Studio Donegal Soft Tweed 1 and 1/2 100 gram Skeins(210 yards) , in Charcoal and Midnight (1/2 skein is for the contrast edge).
Finished size: 18” circumference x 11.” tall.
