Inspiration:

I have always loved the wrong side of stranded knitting. I knew deep in my gut; I could utilize the long floats somehow. This pattern is the epitome of utilizing the long floats for visual interest.

I developed an easy pattern for the “Libelula” beanie using the dragon fly stitch. “Libelula” beanie displays the right side of the knit, however the “Float” pattern displays the wrong side. I loved the wrong side of this stitch so much, I had to show it off in another pattern. Of course, the neck warmer is reversible. Wear it however mood strikes you. You choose what side is the “right” side.

Place that multicoloured yarn on the outside and the solid as the background or vice versa. Play, create, explore is my motto.
I am embracing my home spun and home dyed fiber in 2021. I chose the background colour to be just that. A melody of a spring meadow. Its lovely to show off those hand spun yarns. My solid yarn is commercially produced by Malabrigo. Both yarns play together beautifully.
