The cables of the Floating Spiral Hat are deliberately misaligned and offset, creating an organic, flowing pattern that mimics the bark of a tree. Crown decreases are worked with the cable twists, creating an overall sculptural spiral effect.

Yarn Debbie Bliss Donegal Luxury Tweed (85% wool, 15% angora; 96 yd 88 m/50 g): #8 green, 2 skeins. Yarn distributed by Knitting Fever.
