All the proceeds from the sale of this pattern will go to The George Waterson Centre in Fair Isle which preserves and exhibits items from Fair Isle’s history including its fabulous textile collection. Inspired by diving birds and Escher style patterns this cowl uses icord cast on and cast off to create a neat neck warmer. The Jamieson’s of Shetland Heather or Aran weight equivalent makes a fast knit and a lovely warm garment. Any two contrasting colours work for this design.
