First released in 2011, this beloved design returns in a refreshed edition, now knit with Biscotte’s Bling yarn!

MATERIALS NEEDED

  • Biscotte Yarns – BLING 92% merino sw wool, 5% polyester neps & 3% lurex | 400 meters (100 g) 1 skein shown in Nature (undyed) colour and in a limited color edition for Christmas 2025 (green).
  • Circular or double-pointed needles of 2.5 mm; US #1, or the size required to achieve the gauge.
  • 1 tapestry needle
  • 3 stitch markers

GAUGE
32 stitches: 10 cm in stockinette stitch

SIZE
One size fits all adults: the length of the foot is adjustable.

NOTES
In the original version, the pattern for this sock was only knitted on the front of the leg. I made this choice to preserve the elasticity of the sock.
When updating the pattern, an “error” crept into the instructions, and the pattern was knitted on both the front and back of the leg. This new knitted version has shown that there is still enough elasticity to slip your foot in without difficulty.

Therefore, you are free to knit whichever version you prefer!
