Flora Lanterna Square Blanket
A stunning and unique blanket design that works up quickly and can be made with any ply and fiber of yarn, and to any preferred size.
The pattern document includes written instructions and a diagram for the first few repeats (with construction being generic for subsequent repeats).
Tip: Swatch to determine most suitable hook size for chosen yarn. To ensure the blanket has a lacy drape it is recommended to use a slightly larger hook than typically used for the chosen weight of yarn.
Intermediate skill level.
Example Project Details:
- Yarn: Marvel 4 Seasons 8ply acrylic yarn (DK/Cat. 3) in Peach shade. Almost six entire balls used (~1698m/1857yd or ~600g/21.2oz).
- Hook: 4.5mm.
- Finished Size: ~135cm/53in square (equivalent to baby blanket or lap blanket size).
- Construction: 6 repeats and three border rounds (44 rounds in total).
