Flora Sol is a boomerang type shawl knit on the bias. Its shaping results in a drapey, asymetrical triangle that combines the length of a crescent shawl and the depth of a traditional triangle in a wearable middle-ground.
With its all over garter base, it’s a relaxing knit with gentle eyelets and textures to add rhythm.
Flora Sol is meant to be a peaceful and versatile accessory. Choose two muted neutrals for a soft marbled effect, two more contrasted yarns for a colour-block look or work the shawl in just one special colourway.

Yarn :
You will need approximately 200g – 800 m / 876 yards of fingering weight yarn
Sample used Papiput Tough Sock in Abu and Smoke haze.

Gauge & Needles :
18 stitches x 38 rows per 10 cm / 4 inches on 4 mm (US 6) needles in garter stitch after blocking.

Size :
Flora Sol is 240 cm / 94 inches long per 50 cm / 19 1⁄2 inches at the widest point.

Details :
Pattern instructions are written only. Due to the shaping, I found that charting the textured sections was not helpful. However they are repetitive geometric small segments and your knitting will be very easy to read.

Flora Sol est un châle boomerang tricoté en biais. Sa forme donne un triangle asymétrique avec beaucoup de drapé. Elle combine la longueur d’un châle en demie-lune et la profondeur d’un châle triangle pour un entre-deux facile à porter.
Tout en point mousse, c’est un tricot relaxant avec des ouvertures délicates et un peu de texture pour le rythme.
Flora Sol est un accessoire apaisant et versatile. Choisissez deux couleurs neutres pour un effet marbré subtil, deux couleurs plus contrastées pour un résultat plus coloré ou travaillez le châle avec un seul coloris spécial.

Vous aurez besoin d’environ 200g - 800 m / 876 yards de laine fingering.
Le modèle est tricoté en Papiput Tough Sock coloris Abu et Smoke Haze.

Les instructions pour ce patron sont uniquement écrites. Avec cette forme, faire un diagramme pour les points texturés n’était pas efficace. Le point est fait de petits segments répétitifs, le tricot est donc facile à lire.
