These baby bib shorts are both practical and cute with added floral trim, which is worked separately and sewn on, so no need for intarsia work. Worked in aran weight cotton, the bib-shorts fasten with buttons on shoulder straps and at side waistband. Can be worn over a long sleeve T-shirt and tights on cold days and just a vest on warmer days. We use grey and pink, a classic colour combination or can be worked in any colour combination of your choice, with or without the flowers. The flowers can be positioned on the bib top or more can be worked and added to the hem or scattered across the body of the work.

The bib shorts are worked mainly in St st, from bottom up, with 4 stitch G st border at each side. The back has a deep 2x2 rib waistband (to cover nappy) that extends round to the front to fasten with 2 buttons on each side.
