Skill level: easy but not for a beginner
Supplies: sport yarn in various colors or per desire (left over yarn is perfect for this project) and 1.9mm hook for (smaller) flowers/ leaves and DK yarn for bigger flowers/leaves and a 3.00 mm hook. Half of the banners in this tutorial are made with DK Yakut 100% pure cotton, the other half with a DK mercerized cotton – they are all the bright ones with a little shine from a local producer.

- sewing needle for sewing the flowers, leaves and accents on, tapestry needle for weaving ends of big flowers and banner.

Stitches: chain (ch), chain space (ch-space), skip (sk), slip stitch (sl st), single crochet (sc), half double crochet (hdc), half double crochet two together (hdc2tog), double crochet (dc), treble (tr), picot. American terminology used.
