Floral Facet Hat

This hat has been designed to complement the Floral Facet scarf and cowl, another colourful and warm accessory to brighten dull, cold winter days. It is knit in the round and begins with a band of stocking stitch to create a double thickness brim and then continues to the crown of the hat with a combination of ribbed colour work and Latvian braids.
This pattern has been designed to use a combination of multiple mini skeins with a main colour, you can of course use any combination of yarns that take your fancy.
Yarn Requirements: MC: 1x 100 g CC: 7 x 20 g fingering weight yarn;
Sample used Botanical Yarn 4ply Superwash 75% Merino Wool 25% Nylon 425 m per 100g, 85 m per 20g mini skein, available from www.botanicalyarn.com
Needles: 3.0 & 3.75 mm 16” circular needles
Notions: tapestry needle, stitch markers
Gauge: 32 sts and 44 rows to 10 cm/4” over stocking stitch on 3.0 mm needles.
