Florentina Lace Cardigan
This perfect warm weather cardigan is knit from the top-down in seamless construction.
This is a two patterns in one pattern!
- You can knit the bottom section in a pretty, simple to knit lace pattern, or
- you can only knit the lower ¾ of the back section in the lace pattern and continue the front in stockinette. By choosing the second choice, you create an asymmetrical look because the lace fabric blocks out larger than the stockinette section.
The fantastic thing about knitting from the top-down is that the garment can be tried on and easily customize during the knitting.
