This pattern is knitted flat from the bottom up and then seamed together at the end. It features ribbing and traditional Fair Isle two-colour stranded colour work as well as saddle shoulders.
Materials:
Knitting needles (for knitting flat):
- 2.75mm
- 3.25mm
Yarn:
210g 3 ply/Light Fingering yarn - natural colour
30g 3 ply/Light Fingering yarn - green
3 small buttons
Techniques/Stitches:
- Casting on and off
- Knitting and purling
- Simple decreases (k2tog)
- Simple increases (m1)
- Casting off some stitches in a row
- Two-colour stranded colour work
- Sewing and seaming pieces together/buttons on
