Looking for a fair isle sweater project that doesn’t take quite as long? The body of this pullover is knit in Wool of the Andes Worsted yarn, while the front panel, crafted in Knit Picks Palette, gives the knitter a chance to feature his/her fair isle skills. An adorable hood and kangaroo pocket make the Flower Medley Hoodie a sweater you’ll grab and wear, time and time again.

Yarn:
Knit Picks Wool of the Andes Worsted:

  • #23421 Spruce (green), 9 (10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 15) balls

Knit Picks Palette (fingering):

  1. #25096 Opal Heather (light green), 2 balls
  2. #25535 Spruce (green), 2 balls
  3. #24251 Turmeric (yellow), 1 ball
  4. #24556 Rose Hip (pink), 1 ball
  5. #25539 Hollyberry (red), 1 ball

Errata: Color Discrepancy:
For the colors of the Fair Isle panels to be the same as seen on the sample, the color labels for the charts are correct but the colors used to color the stitch squares for C1 and C2 in the charts need to be switched.

That is, work the charts following the color labels as given for C1 and C2 but be aware that C1 is actually the light-colored yarn and C2 is the dark-colored yarn.

The last picture to the left shows you an example of how Chart A would be worked to match the sample.
