The flowers on this bag are made with the technique called ‘Overlay Mosaic’. The bottom of the bag and the top of the bag (in green) are made with just Single Crochet (US) or Double Crochet (UK) or Vasten (Dutch)
I have also crocheted a green bag for the inside with just Single/Double Crochet/Vasten. The outside bag would be flimsy and unstable so this inside bag will give the bag some extra structure and firmness.

This crochet pattern is available in English (with American and English crochet terms) and in Dutch.

This bag is made with the technique called ‘Overlay Mosaic Crochet’ where you change color after every round.

Skill level: Intermediate (I expect you to know how to crochet ‘Overlay Mosaic’)

Size: the diameter of the bag is 16 cm / 6.3 inch and the height is 19 cm / 7.5 inch. This is a small bag, but big enough for wallet, phone and keys.

Materials:
• Schachenmayr Catania (sport) fine weight 100% cotton yard (125 m/ 137 yds / 50 g per skein):
1 skein #00130 creme
5 skeins #00205 apfel (green)
1 skein #00256 himbeer (dark pink)
1 skein #00409 dahlie (light pink)
• Size C2 (US)/ 12 (UK) / 2.5 mm crochet hook
• Tapestry needle
• Piece of cardboard 11 cm / 4.4 inch high for making the tassels
