DESCRIPTION
The flower pinafore dress’ knitting pattern is a classic style that is extremely versatile and easy to wear.
I made this one for my baby girl’s first summer. I knitted this lovely pinafore dress with fairy and flowers in my mind.
You little one can wear this pretty dress in any season, layered and with tights or leggings in cool weather, on its own, or with a little tee shirt or tank underneath in summer.

The flower pinafore dress is worked seamlessly in the round, from the bottom-up, then the front and back are worked flat separately. The garter stitch is worked on either side of the dress and continues along with the straps.

SIZING
Sizes: 3 (6, 12, 18, 24) months
To fit chest: 16 (17, 18, 19, 21)“ / 40.5 (43, 45.5, 48.5, 53.5) cm.

GAUGE, NEEDLES, NOTIONS
Gauge: 26 sts & 36 rows = 4 inches (10 cm) square in stockinette st after blocking.
Needles: US 2.5 - 3 mm 16-40” circular needles

YARN
Yarn: Yarn Weight 2 Fine (Sport, Baby)
I used Schachenmayr Catania Color
Yardage: 246 (287, 320, 370, 402) yards / 225 (262, 392, 338, 367) meters
