• Yarn: DK/8ply/Cat. 3 weight yarn or Worsted/10ply/Cat. 4 weight yarn (for chunkier bookmark). Acrylic, bamboo, cotton or blends of these, ~15g/0.5Oz in total per bookmark.
• Hook: Use yarn label instructions as a guide for selecting hook size. Swatch to determine the optimal hook size for your tension.
• Bookmark Size: Varies with brand and weight of chosen yarn, number of flowers, and how flowers are joined. ~23.5cm/9.25in length in DK yarn, five flowers joined at two petals per flower.
• Gauge: Specific gauge not required for this design.
• Stitch Terminology: US. Refer to Abbreviations and Special Stitch Instructions.
• Notions: Scissors and darning needle.
• Pattern Synopsis: Flowers are made in the round in two rounds per flower. Once sufficient flowers are made for the preferred length of bookmark, the flowers are stitched together on WS.
