Boot toppers or leg warmers are the best project! And make fabulous gifts to boot! (pun intended) Quick, colorful and great to spruce up a drab outfit and use up your leftover worsted weight yarn!
For this project you will knit and purl, work a basic cable, pick up stitches for the contrast cuffs and use a simple embroidery stitch (easy photo tutorial included in the pattern)

After casting on this project, I wanted to knit them in all the colors, so I cast on a second version before the first one was even done! And hence the pictures were taken before the full sets :)
You are of course encouraged to follow your own heart and wear them however makes you the happiest, but perhaps a set is a bit more traditional ;)
