Flowered Afghan
From the description: “This one-of-a-kind afghan is a cherished treasure from the past that Gloria Vanderbilt was gracious enough to share with us. First shown in ‘Gloria Vanderbilt Designs for Your Home,’ it has a unique charm all its own. It’s crocheted in strips of changing colors, then embroidered. Strips are joined on the diagonal for an intriguing notched outline.”
Pattern calls for about 70 oz. of various colors of worsted weight yarn for crocheted squares and embroidery, and 10 oz. of black worsted weight yarn for joining and edging.
Additional materials required are a size F afghan hook and tapestry needles.
