These slippers are knitted flat as a T shape and then they are sewn together. They are not shaped as a sock, they are more buggy like that and more square in the toes. If you think they are too loose you can use the elastic in the area of the angle and keep them in place. Also, even though my daughter at the time of the photoshoot (fancy way of describing me begging her to stand still so I can photograph them) refused to wear socks, these slippers are supposed to be worn with socks. Their fabric is not tightly knitted and your kids’ toes may make an appearance through it!
