4-ply (fingering weight) yarn – 50g main body colour, scrap of contrast colour for hooves, main and tail, white for horn.
2.25mm hook
30mm eye – safety or glass cabochon (as used in model available from Julie Wang on www.amazon.com)
4 thick 30mm buttons to stabilize legs
Glue if using a glass cabochon for the eye
1 set false eyelashes (not recommended if making for a small child)
1 pipe cleaner for the tail
