Fluxion is cowl neck top worked from the top down. The garter ribs flow gently into the stockinette body. The armhole edges and the side vents at the hem are framed by some garter stitches. The hem beautifully picks up a part of the ridge sequence from the upper body. The directions include a waist shaping but feel free to adjust the body line to your desired fit.

Choose a yarn that drapes nicely to get a smooth cowl neck.
This top is perfect for hot summer days as well as colder days when worn under a blazer.

SIZES
XS (S, M, L, XL, XXL) with finished bust 80 (90, 100, 110, 120, 130) cm/31½“ (35½”, 39½“, 43¼”, 47¼“, 51”).

YARN
Dye for Yarn fingering mulberry silk, 100% silk, 400 meters/440 yards per 100-gram skein; 2 (2, 2, 2, 3, 3) skeins or approx. 600 (650, 720, 800, 900, 1000) meters/ 655 (710, 790, 880, 985, 1095) yards fingering weight yarn to obtain given gauge

Sample shown in colorway hazy winter sky.

Everybody knits differently, therefore yardage is an estimate.

GAUGE
25 sts x 56 rows = 10 cm/4”, in garter stitch with 3.00 mm/US 2 ½ before washing and blocking
23 sts x 44 rows = 10 cm/4”, in garter stitch with 3.00 mm/US 2 ½ after washing and blocking

25 sts x 34 rows = 10 cm/4”, in stockinette stitch with 3.25 mm/US 3 before washing and blocking
23 sts x 30 rows = 10 cm/4”, in stockinette stitch with 3.25 mm/US 3 after washing and blocking

I highly recommend to knit a swatch and measure it before and after washing to achieve your desired fit of the garment. Silk tends to grow (up to 10%) when washed.

Take time to check gauge and adjust needle size if necessary to obtain gauge.**
