Flying Ply Scarf
Simple, yet elegant. This scarf does make a statement! This little cutie is worked in lace (or fingering) weight yarn but incorporates some plying tricks that ups the needles size to an #8 (or #9)! Yes … no tiny needles on this baby. The bias, triangular shape sits nicely around the neck and the fine yarn provides fine drape. The knitted-in loop keeps it on and the optional beads add some sparkle. Solid color and painted yarns look fantastic. Simple elegance!
