These striking patterned mitts are an easy seamless knit, designed to use less than 100g of worsted weight yarn.

The thumb gusset increases are worked on the same round as the geometric purl stitch texture, making them easy to keep track of.

After the gusset increases are finished the thumb stitches are put on hold. The top of the mitten is completed with simple triangular shaping, and then the thumb is knitted straight and finished with simple decreases.

These mittens are a great first time seamless knit, and should be a walk in the park for anyone used to knitting in the round.
