Foliose, named after a type of lichen, is a cozy and relaxed pullover that celebrates our woolly Deluxe Worsted yarn through bold colorwork. Designed with positive ease, this insulating pullover is the ideal layering piece for crisp autumn and winter days. With its diamond motifs and lice stitch throughout the body and sleeves, Foliose is both eye-catching and perfect for forest walks or fireside lounging.

PATTERN NOTES
This sweater is knit seamlessly from the top down and features all-over stranded colorwork. German short rows are worked in the neckband to raise the back neck. Please note that the Diamonds and Lice Stitch patterns are charted only. Change colors as indicated on charts.

If your stranded gauge is typically tighter than your stockinette gauge, you may prefer to change to a smaller needle size after working the Diamonds pattern, and resume with the larger needle once you begin the Separate Body and Sleeves section.

This sweater is designed to be worn with approx. 4-6” of positive ease.
