Follow The River Through The Woods Scarf
This design was inspired by The Dark Is Rising book(s) by Susan Cooper. The scarf depicts a river - or torrent of water - flowing through a forest - the series of lace leaves.
Use a smaller needle size and/or laceweight yarn to make the scarf narrower. Use a larger needle size and/or heavier yarn to make the scarf wider - worsted weight would make it almost a shawl. It can be any length, just stop when you either have it the length you want or are about to run out of yarn. Great for that one-and-a-bit skein of fingering yarn left over from another project!
This pattern is now available in German. Many thanks to Omissi for the translation.
