Construction

For Keeps is knit seamlessly from the top down. The back of the cardigan is cast on provisionally and short rows are worked to shape the shoulders. Front panels are picked up from the provisional cast on and knit. The body is joined under the arms after working fronts and back to the required armhole depth. Sleeves are picked up and knit from the top down.

Techniques Used In This Pattern

Provisional cast on, working in textured pattern with German short rows, cables, slipping stitches, picking up stitches

Selecting A Size

For Keeps is intended to be worn with 4-8” / 10-20 cm of positive ease. Select a size
4-8” / 10-20 cm larger than your bust measurement.

If you are between sizes, I recommend sizing down rather than up.

Finished Bust Circumference

Measurements below include a 2-3” / 5-15 cm opening at the front of the cardigan.
