Pattern is available in Knit Companion.
The Forest Mosaic Cowl is a quick and easy cowl with textured colorwork that looks impressive but is really just slipped stitches. The colorwork uses only one color per row! It’s so much fun to work the design in a gradient yarn and it’s also a great way to use up stash and leftover yarn… maybe even a skein of variegated yarn against a strongly contrasting background?
Forest Mosaic is a triangle cowl with a center spine and is worked top-down. The back edges can be seamed, or you can optionally add loops and buttons for additional versatility in wearing.
The pattern is both charted and written. Yes, every single square of every single chart is written out and included at the end of the pattern!
The pattern is written for fingering weight yarn but can be made in any weight. Size and yarn usage will vary with differences in gauge.
This pattern has been professionally tech-edited and tested.
