Formentera es una camiseta de verano muy ligera que te recomiendo tejer con una fibra muy fresquita. Su construcción es muy sencilla: se empieza por el cuello y se teje hacia abajo, comenzando por un canesú redondo con unos calados muy fáciles pero muy originales. Al llegar a la zona más ancha del pecho, se separa el cuerpo de las mangas, que quedan en espera. Se continúa el cuerpo recto y se remata con un sencillo punto bobo. Las mangas en espera también llevan el mismo calado que el canesú, pero más pequeño.

Su nombre se debe al nombre del color del hilado que he escogido para mi muestra, que no dejaba de recordarme a esa maravillosa isla que visité hace ya más años de los que quisiera.

La camiseta original está tejida con 550 (600, 700, 800) (900, 950, 1000) m 600 (650, 800, 900) (1000, 1050, 1100) yardas de Turqueslino, de Tintes Ovillová, composición 70% lino, 30% seda (300 m en 100 g) grosor sport, Color de la muestra: Turqueslino. Si vas a usar otro hilado, te recomiendo un hilo grosor sport fresquito.
Tejido principal: Agujas circulares de 3 mm (o las necesarias para obtener la muestra de tensión) con cables de 40/60 cm para el cuerpo. Muestra: 22 puntos x 35 vueltas en 10 cm x 10 cm.
El patrón incluye varios vídeo tutoriales para las partes más novedosas. Está disponible en español y en inglés. Tallas: de 75 a 135 cm de contorno de pecho.

Formentera is a very light summer tee that I recommend knitting with a very cool fiber. Its construction is very simple: it starts at the neck and is knit downwards, beginning with a round yoke with very easy but very original lace. Upon reaching the widest part of the chest, the body is separated from the sleeves, which are left on hold. The body is continued straight and finished with a simple garter stitch. The sleeves on hold also feature the same lace as the yoke, but smaller.

Its name comes from the color of the yarn I chose for my sample, which kept reminding me of that wonderful island I visited more years ago than I’d like to admit.
The original tee is knit with 550 (600, 700, 800) (900, 950, 1000) m 600 (650, 800, 900) (1000, 1050, 1100) yards of Turqueslino, by Tintes Ovillová, composition 70% linen, 30% silk (300 m in 100 g) sport weight, Sample color: Turqueslino. If you are going to use another yarn, I recommend a cool sport weight yarn.
Main fabric: 3 mm circular needles (or size needed to obtain gauge) with 40/60 cm cables for the body. Gauge: 22 stitches x 35 rounds in 10 cm x 10 cm. Sample knit with 3 mm needles, in Stockinette stitch.
