Fortuna is the Roman goddess of luck, fortune, and fate, often depicted with a wheel symbolizing the unpredictable nature of destiny.

The Fortuna Top is knitted seamlessly from the top down. The front and the back are knitted separately before being joined at the underarm. The body is knitted in the round in stockinette stitch, and the hem in 1x1 ribbing. Lastly, the straps are knitted as i-cords.

The Fortuna top is best suited to cotton, viscose or linen-blend yarns with plenty of drape. You can knit the top with either a single strand of aran-weight yarn or two strands of sport-weight yarn held together. If you choose the sport weight version, you can knit with both strands in the same colour or go for a marled effect by using two different shades.
