This design was inspired by a skein of handspun that just didn’t seem to want to be any project I cast on with it. After a dark dreary winter, this shawl finally came through like a rainbow after the storm. A name came to me almost immediately. I wanted something about promise, because God made a promise to us with a rainbow. They’re more than just an array of colors, more than just a symbol, they’re a promise. Now, every time we see one, we can be reminded that the best is yet to come.

Remember with every stitch, if you’re in the midst of a storm, there’s a rainbow at the end. Your Day 41 is coming.
