Four Corners
Four Corners is a bold, graphic pullover inspired by the iconic meeting point of four states—where lines converge, directions shift, and something unexpected takes shape. The front of the sweater is built from oversized triangular sections in alternating colors, growing outward from a single starting point in a striking, pinwheel-like motif that feels both modern and architectural.
The sweater’s clever modular construction makes the process as engaging as the finished piece. The front is worked first, beginning with one triangle and expanding as stitches are picked up for each new section. The back is knit separately in smooth stockinette using the main color, creating a clean canvas that balances the drama of the front. Stitches are then joined and worked in the round for the sleeves, hem, and collar, resulting in a relaxed, oversized pullover with strong visual impact and an unexpectedly intuitive knit.
Graphic, playful, and deeply satisfying to make, Four Corners is a celebration of color, geometry, and the beauty of where things meet.

NOTES
- The front of this pullover is worked back and forth in four triangles. The bottom triangle is cast on and worked first. The next three triangles are each picked up from a previous triangle (counterclockwise) and knit. The last triangle is sewn to the first triangle. The back is worked back and forth with the main color and sewn to the front. The sleeves, collar, and bottom band are then picked up and worked in the round.
