Four pastries: jam tart, lemon pie, iced cake and chocolate tart are suitable for a beginner as they are all knitted in garter stitch with no increase or decrease needed. Only small amounts of yarn are needed so they’re great for using up scraps.

Cardboard circles are needed for the fillings.
