The Fourth Knit Mosaic Cowl uses overlapping stripes of color in a simple slip stitch mosaic pattern to create a squishy, cozy, and mesmerizing fabric.
Construction details The Fourth Knit Mosaic Cowl is worked in the round. Stitches are slipped PURLWISE with yarn in BACK for the cowl.

Sizes: One size.
Finished measurements: 24”/61 cm circumference x 11”/28 cm depth
Gauge: 20 sts and 20 rounds = 4”/10 cm in Checkered Mosaic pattern using size needle to obtain gauge.
Needles: US 8/5 mm 24”/60 cm circular needle or size needed for gauge. US 7/4.5 mm 24”/60 cm circular needle or one size smaller than size needed for gauge. Adjust needle size as necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Yarn: 300 yards total of worsted weight (CYCA #4) yarn in an assortment of colors.
Sample made with Yarn Snob “A Wondrous Worsted” (100% superwash merino wool, 218 yds /100 g) in the Festival of Lights set of 8 colors, 54 yds/25 g each.
Additional Materials: stitch marker, tapestry needle.
