Framboise Cardigan
by Cirilia Rose
Style advisors love to sing the praises of silk scarves. The fluid fabric and the idiosyncratic prints make them highly collectible items, but I often find myself cursing the magazine editors who claim that they’re an easy, transformative item. The slinky fabric can be difficult to manage, and intricate ties can end up feeling overly fussy.
Framboise is a simple, ladylike cardigan with two petite tabs that will hold a favorite scarf in place. Knit the challenging lace ascot (shown here in a non-slippery silk-wool blend) or substitute a treasured vintage piece.
