Frances Crescent Shawl
Elegant and lacey, worked in a linen blend with lovely drape, this piece is the perfect accessory. I don’t recall Aunt Frances ever wearing a shawl, but if she were here today I’m sure she would wear this one.

Finished Measurements: 58”/143.3cm wingspan by 12”/30.5cm height
Gauge: 23 sts and 32 rows = 4”/10cm in stockinette stitch. Gauge is not critical in this pattern, but a different gauge will affect yardage and size of finished garment. It may be necessary to unravel gauge swatch and re-use the yarn. Take time to check gauge.
Materials:
Yarn: Linen or linen blend sport or fingering weight yarn, 400 yards. Models shown in Plymouth Yarn Linaza (50% Alpaca, 25% Linen, 25% Tencel; 440yds/100g) colors 201 Cream, 1 skein, and 1641 Robins Egg, 1 skein
Needles: US 5/3.75mm 30” circular, or size needed to obtain gauge
