Francis is is a fitted pencil skirt with panel of lace leaves formed by twisted stitches that run up the thigh. A stockinette hemline is allowed to curl for a modern edge that offsets the fancy nature of a knit skirt.

Yarn:
One Room Fibers Superwash DK (231 yds/211m), in Bordeaux colorway.
970 (1023, 1078, 1133,1190, 1272, 1300, 1468,1494) yards
or
1061 (1119, 1179, 1240,1302, 1392, 1422, 1606.1 634) meters
when substituting yarn,please chose something elastic, such as wool or wool blends.

Finished Sizes:
Waist: 26 (28, 30, 31, 33, 34, 37, 41, 43) in. 66 (72, 77, 79, 84, 87, 94, 106, 110) cm
Hips: 35 (37, 39, 41, 43, 46, 47, 53, 54) in. 89 (94, 100, 105, 110, 117, 120, 135, 138) cm
Length: 31.5 all sizes.

Needles: US Size 4 and 6 or 3.5 and 4.0mm

Gauge:
Stockinette stitch: 20sts/32rows = 4”/1 0cm on larger needles
and
Lace Stitch:23 sts = 4”
