-Circular needles size 4 mm / US 6, 40 cm / 16” long, or size to obtain gauge
For ROUND TOP ONLY: either a set of double point needles, a second circular needle, or a long circular needle (for magic loop) in same size as above to obtain gauge, to use when shaping top
For SQUARE TOP ONLY: another needle in same size as above to obtain gauge used for 3-needle bind off
