update 12/15: Danish and Portuguese translations added

….felt immensely inspired after I had the pleasure to see Cecelia Campochiaro’s “Fiberside Chat” in March, … the result of me “jumping” into this cool idea of sequence knitting is Frau Keli

Frau Keli (named after my son’s partner … her name is Frauke ;)) is a casual hat, worked in the round from the brim to the top. The “welted” brim is worked first. A wide delicate band of textured colorwork comes next and adds just the right amount of interest. Once the textured colorwork is complete, the remainder of the hat is worked in Stockinette stitch in rounds to the crown shaping. An optional pompom could be worked last.
