Frederikke Sweater

Frederikke Sweater is a simple and timeless high-neck raglan sweater, designed to be easy to knit – regardless of experience level. It has a classic fit with approx. 5 cm / 2 inches of positive ease, a standard armhole depth, and long sleeves. The length is slightly cropped but can easily be adjusted to suit your personal style.

The sweater is knitted in one strand Önling No 3, our soft, organic merino wool – a beautiful quality that makes it perfect for most of the year.
If you prefer a lighter, fluffier look, you can also knit it using: one strand Önling No 4 (fine organic merino wool) held together with one strand Önling No 10 (silk mohair), or in one strand Önling No 1, our ultimate luxury yarn, for an extra exclusive look.

Frederikke Sweater is easy to customize to your preferences – adjust the lengths of the body, sleeves, and neck, or adjust the ease to achieve exactly the fit you dream of. A simple, versatile sweater you’ll love having in your wardrobe!

Procedure
The sweater is worked in the round from the top down. First, a high neck is worked, and markers are placed to mark the raglan sections. Short rows are then worked across the back, sleeves, and partially across each side of the front to shape the neckline and ensure a good fit. The yoke is then worked in the round with raglan increases down to the armholes, where the work is divided into body and sleeves, which are finished separately. The lengths of the body, sleeves, and neck can easily be adjusted and worked shorter or longer as desired.
