Freedom and Warmth in a Jerkin
This is one of winter’s indispensables. it can be worn by the girl in uniform, the office-girl, the housewife. Fits snugly at the waist with zipper finish at side. Allows plenty of freedom in wear.
The pattern is so simple that the veriest amateur with the knitting needles can turn out a perfect looking garment. Watch tension and follow directions.
TRIM, smart, with tailor-like finish, this jerkin (some would call it a pullover) should be in every woman’s wardrobe.
Materials: 6oz. 3-ply crochet wool: 1 pair No. 10 knitting needles; 5 No. 12 knitting needles with points at both ends; 4in. zipp fastener.
Measurements: Bust, 32ins.; waist, 24ins.; hips, 33ins.
Tension: 7 sts. to inch in width, and 10 rows to inch in length.
