Freisa
I wanted to design a sweater for autumn which is truly in tune with the atmosphere of the season. The first things I thought of were wine and grape harvest. So I sat down and tried to create the texture. After a few tries, I managed to design the final version which can be seen on the sweater. I tried knitting bigger and fewer bobbles first but they didn’t look good plus I had to turn the work all the time to make them, which I didn’t like and I didn’t want other knitters to suffer either. The final version has quite a lot of bobbles but they don’t require turning the work – ensuring that knitting them stays fun.
