The fresh hop hat is both an homage to my beer connoisseur husband and the color of the yarn. It is available in four sizes and is suitable for both men and women. The alternating Andalusian stitch gives a rich texture that also reminds one of the bitter hop flower. The garter band and slanting rib add interest and more texture. The hat is a beanie style hat that can be worn low to keep the ears nice and toasty warm. The top shaping is created by evenly spaced mirrored decreases.
